​Reactivating silence, dancing memory

After ten years in storage, three paintings created in Berlin in 2013 resurface in the Marseille studio of artist Sophie Bueno Bouteiller. Their return sets the stage for INTERSTICES, a performance born from an intuitive encounter with dancer Andrés García Martínez.

Rather than illustrating the works, the dance reactivates them. Through improvisation, Andrés enters into a physical dialogue with the painted gestures, inhabiting their silences and awakening a latent memory. The body becomes a vessel between past and present, opening a suspended space where art is experienced as a living, evolving process.

INTERSTICES is a tribute to the resonance of gesture — a sensitive journey through time, through matter and movement.
